Electric Blue Cichlid Care

English version of the library Web Tomás Navarro Tomás

As you know, the library Tomás Navarro Tomás has just published the English version of its website. A long work begun last year and made possible through collaboration with a translation company, who made the translation of a large part of the web texts and subsequent correction of the entire page. We consider the price, € 0.075 per word, is acceptable, so we encourage to you who are thinking about this possibility to "throw in the pool."

With this initiative we hope to reach a wider audience internationally and be able to satisfy their needs for information about our library. I hope this information is helpful.

Greetings.

The economic issue is becoming a bit tiresome, but, unfortunately, no longer the day our daily bread in recent years. Also in the public administration and library budgets.

economic problems, how could it be otherwise, are a major concern of public officials, as they are limiting the possibilities to continue providing public services hitherto offered.

Trying to get as much (or more) with less is the goal of the leaders. A laudable goal is surprising that only now has been raised that have come the lean. Why was not raised when they seemed more than enough resources?

Apart from this question, we must also ask whether we consider acceptable to increase efficiency in implementing resources at any cost.
recent example we opening of the new public library statewide Ciudad Real (1), which has become one of the largest in the country. This is a facility which can only be welcomed.
However, just the day before appeared in various media that the union CSI-F (2) accused the government of Castilla-La Mancha of which sought to make the recruitment of the new library through Culture Foundation and Sport, under the Ministry of Culture. Thus, CSI-F ensures that the recruitment of staff of the new facility not pass through the control of the Ministry of Economy and liberalize the conditions of employment. Free

every rumor seems to be privatization José Manuel Lara library recently opened in
Alcalá de Guadaira (3). What makes us see that these hiring practices are widespread.

It is difficult to understand that a public service, for both publicly funded and is operated by private companies.

s Any of us might think that if it saves money and is still offering the same service, with the same quality, everything is perfect.
may save money, really do not know to what extent. However, we must also take into account the difficulties that may involve changes in personnel management company in the provision of library service.

not give importance to the degradation of working conditions. The only way is to reduce costs is by lowering wages. No doubt that is the most effective in the short term. At the same time it is an impoverishment of the majority of the inhabitants.
appears is now worsening labor market also has to affect public employees, present and future. Recently the news appeared that the average salary of these workers was higher than private. Nobody remembers when only four years ago that officials said were the "fools of the fair, while earning a fortune in the construction sector.

The main question is whether we are willing to accept public services run by private companies so that they become a business. Which brings us to question where the limit of privatization (which, ultimately, is what amounts to outsourcing). Acceptable to us privatize libraries, and why not go further, education, health, public safety ... How far we come, where we put the red line?

Maybe we conclude that no matter what we think l @ s @ s citizenship, if those who depart after the cod are big business and big fortunes. The example of David Cameron, the UK prime minister, is symptomatic: not capable of eliminating large bonuses to bankers (4) (7000 million pounds plan to share this year), including directors of banks like Royal Bank of Scotland that had to be rescued with public money, but you can dismiss public employees to 500000 and make significant cuts in education and health.

Curiosa yardstick that is also being applied in our country. Do we really believe that there are red lines in the privatization of public services? What do you think?
