Shortly we will have access to the new WOK 5.2. We advance some of the new features and enhancements you will see in the new platform, whose launch date is scheduled for March 27, 2011.
- Truncation to the left of a term (* * recovers dihydroxylation hydroxy, Dihydroxylations, Dihydroxylated, Aminohydroxylation). Recovery
- different variations of a selected word - retrieves the word singular and plural (mice and mouse) the word British or American English (color or color) and other variations of a word.
- Removing unwanted words - now you can find "Vitamin A".
- New operator 'NEAR'-osmium "near / 5" for example to determine the proximity of one term to another in a register.
- Search the full names of the authors.
- Results are automatically sorted by year of publication and not the date of indexing.
- More options to sort results (from oldest to most current). Elimination
- limit search results.
- Refine and analyze all results without limit. Viewing
- abstracts in the search results page.
- Create a report of events in the bulleted list. Total
global - appointments. The times cited an article, now includes citations of all sources of citations in the WOK (Web of Science, Biosis Citation Chinese Citation Index and Index). You can see the total citations to all bases and the total individual basis.
- Find articles in Researcher ID of authors (see www.researcherid.com )
