Painting With Woman Dancing In A Red Dress

Living on a blog and other things impossible

few days ago, Marcos Roig (of "The documentary entangled" ) reflected on a subject I find really interesting: underpaid Are bloggers?

The first thing to say is that who writes a blog to make money, you can go looking for another activity, because writing a blog requires a lot of effort and benefit, at best, is little. Rarely a person can make a living with a blog.

With little to what we think, we realize that blogs are a negociazo for the platforms that host them, the most obvious example is Google. For a small amount of money, get a lot of content (many quality) in which to insert advertising in the living (and very well indeed).

But we can look from another perspective: Google (as a paradigmatic example) provides free to its users the opportunity to express their views, discuss your hobbies, etc. and read them a potential audience of millions and millions of people. I think for many people, for most, that's priceless.

Another question is whether bloggers will get to replace journalists . In my opinion, there will newspapers and journalists because generally, the news appeared in the newspapers, which are those that have qualified for a task, find the news report.

However, a blogger elaborates his blog as a hobby. And much enthusiasm you have on their professions or hobbies and plasma in the blog is dedicated to time compleot to, not their job. I think that blogs are, above all, a space of opinion and an excellent tool for building community. But they are the primary means of news.

In short, if you fancy write a blog, do it because I like it because you want to express, because you want to be kept informed., but not do it to make money because unless you just want to earn some eurillos, say that "my happiness in a hole." There are many reasons to write a blog, and many other ways to make money.
